Beidaihe is a nice beach town two hours away with bullet train from Beijing. It’s a nice place to spend the weekend away from busy and polluted Beijing. The thing I miss the most in Beijing is the ocean. I have always lived close to the ocean so it is nice to at least a few weekends during the summer go to a beach town. Sometime during the summer we will visit Dalian as well which is also a quite popular city at the coast. Much bigger than Beidaihe but should have nice beaches too.

We where in Beidaihe last weekend and while walking around in a park there I saw these two cute kids and could resist to take a picture of them.
