Had a great week on Iceland. What an amazing country. The image above is shot in an area called Landmannalaugar. Definitely one of the highlight during the week. Probably a place I will return to for a longer time some day. It’s always a struggle when I visit a country for the first time and have a short amount of time. As much as I want to stay and really photograph a place, wait for the right light and all that I also want to continue and see all the other places.
My plan was to shoot mostly black and white on Iceland and most of the other pictures I will post later will be in black and white but this area was one that I for pretty obvious reasons decided too shoot in color. Still I don’t think the glowing neon green color comes through in the images I shot. It really was an unbelievable glowing green color. Maybe IR images could be interesting though.
Yes, Iceeland is a fantastic country. And this is a fantastic and incredible beautiful capture. I hope you found the right light at some other oppurtunities and that you will show us some more pictures.
