I was out yesterday with Amy Archer scouting for the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk in Malmö. I think it will be a really nice route for a photo walk. Here are three pictures I shot while we walked around there.

I only had my 50 mm f/1.4 lens with me. It makes the camera so much lighter to carry around. I will use the same lens on the real photo walk. I shot all these pictures in black and white at first. For some reason I got the idea of doing that. With most cameras you can shoot in black and white but still have the color data in the raw file. Only the preview image on the back of the camera is shown in black and white. It’s a good way to shoot black and white I think. Anyway, when I got home and saw the pictures in color I realized what a stupid idea it was to shoot black and white.

I’m pretty impressed with what I’ve seen here. Photography is a passion of mine, and I love poking around other people’s sites to check their pictures and read up on tecnhiques, etc. Keep up the good work.
