I was in Copenhagen yesterday (again) and photographed the Marathon run. The two images below are the ones I’m most satisfied with. You can see more images on my Flickr page.

I did a bit more photoshopping on these images than I usually do. Not really my style but it is always fun to experiment. Here’s what I did for those who are interested. I added a gradient map adjustment layer (black and white) and blended it with the background layer using soft light as blending mode. Then I added a hue/saturation adjustment layer and lowered the saturation a bit. Finally I did a curves adjustment to get more contrast. On some images (not the two above) I brought in another version of the same image from Lightroom with a lower exposure and took the sky from that one. I also did a bit of dodge and burn on some images.

Next weekend I’m of to photograph the south swedish rally. Hope to bring you some nice pictures from that event too.
